No FREE Shipping. Sorry, not sorry.
But (the big butt) nothing in life is free and so is it not better to know the real cost?
We could set this site for Free Shipping. But why would we?
When anyone sells you anything with Free Shipping, they have added that cost to the product cost before you even see it. However, because they do not know where you live, they have added a cost based on you living the furthest away, the most costly shipping cost they (you) will pay.
I do this with my Tiger Tacos. I do it because it does make it easier for someone to calculate their purchase price when they are looking at my tacos. I add a cost to each taco based on what I expect my cost to ship it will be and most of the time I make more money per sale using this formula. My bad.
However, with TacoTz.com, my intention is not purely profit driven. I just do not want to lose a butt-load of money having fun: Doing good, doing bad! I do hope my creations are appealing enough, to sell enough, to make some extra money which can be tossed at the social causes I find valuable in this world. Yay me!
Right now, Tiger Taco Industries, LLC pays all the fixed and variable costs for TacoTz.com. The IRS aside, taco money should go back into its own structure and TacoTz.com should be able to carry its own weight. My commitment, to you, is that the TacoTz.com cost burden will NOT include margins normally (justifiably) funding someone’s lifestyle, that you receive excellent product value, and you know where any profit goes.
So, again, there is NO FREE SHIPPING. NEVER, EVER! The cost of getting anything in your hot, little hands (even from Amazon, or preferably your local store) includes the actual cost (and generally some profit) of packaging, distribution, and inventory overhead. Unlike the cost to create something, (add value to something raw) shipping cost is a variable based upon you (where you are and how strong your desire is for immediate gratification): the cost to make you happy.
SO, no free shipping, but you only pay for the actual cost required to fulfill your needs. Shipping and taxes (and duties and fees for our cross-border brothers and sisters) are passthrough amounts without any markups. You get to pay for what you want, and I do not have to hide that cost by including it in the product cost.
This is readily transparent with our FREE STICKERS ... I love you, and I love how you may like and even want my design creations (sick bastards who obviously like to read; being down here at the bottom of things) ... and I am not judging you for being cheap, or poor (hell I lived on the bone for most my life) … but we need to be honest about the value of things in life and the marginal costs associated with fulfilling our desires (as twisted as they may be). The stickers are free because they are shit quality (compared to the Decals which will tolerate some abuse) and the creative has already been paid by the Taco T-shirts; and my paying for the material costs feeds my ego. However, TacoTz.com needs to feed (and arm?) hungry women and children (fuck the dudes; not really, but come on .. are you really improving life by not keeping it in your pants until you are not a burden on others) so the least I can do, the least you can do, is cough up the real cost it takes to ship your free stickers. Yay you!!
